Reflection

Taking the investigation and research course was informative and helped me develop research skills that I did not have prior to this course as well as enhance the ones I already have. Although I am a senior biology major taking this course, which is typically a requirement for freshman and sophomore year students, I feel as if i gained skills that I could have developed in my early years of college if i had taken the class earlier. This class taught me the importance of not only doing research but the different types of research that can be conducted. In this class I learned how to create my own experiment from scratch, create a scholar ship poster and write an abstract.
